Hi!

My visa expires on March 27, but I have a stamp in the passport until May 8th. Is it possible for me to get at 60 day extension at an immigration office between those days, i e when my visa has expired?

Thanks!

Andy

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can obtain a 60-day extension of stay at an immigration office after their visa has expired, given they have a stamp until May 8. Responses indicate that extensions can be granted based on marriage to a Thai national, but it varies by immigration office on how often they allow this per visa entry.

Good luck in your endeavor, again I meant no disrespect, I was trying to find out WHY and HOW you're here so I could answer your question with accuracy..

and from your vague post how would know what kind of visa you have or what reason you got it for?

That's why I started with an easy question. There was no insinuation about your intelligence at ll.

SO now that we got that out of the way, You CAN indeed apply for a 60 day visit thai family extension based on marriage to a thai national. GO to your immigration office or have your thai wife call and get the hand out of what's required.

and like I posted in another thread asking about the 60 day visit thai family extension REMEMBER

SOME immigration offices let you do this once per ENTRY <- meaning you could get the 60 day extension on ANY of the 90 day entries you make on your Non-O visa

BUT

SOME immigration offices only let you do it once per VISA <- meaning you can do it ONCE on any of the 90 day entries you get while the visa is valid but then not get it again until you get a new visa from a thai consulate.

Check with your immigration office to see how they enforce the rule,

It's a non-O, multiple entry. What are you insinuating? That I'm stupid?
