I have just read a similar post but to be safe I am asking the question- my next 90 day reporting is due on the day that I fly out of Thailand. Do I report before or is it okay to just fly out. Merry Christmas and thanks for all previous advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If your 90-day reporting is due on the same day you fly out of Thailand, you do not need to report. Your next reporting will be due 89 days after you re-enter the country.

If you stamp out of the country on the date your 90 day report is due you do NOT have to file a report.

Your next 90 day report will be due 89 days from the date you stamp back into the country (they count the day you arrive as day one)
