So I filed my 90 day report today. Receipt says the next reporting day is April 28. I fly out on April 28. Do I need to file it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You do not need to file your 90-day report if you are leaving Thailand on the same day it is due. Several users confirmed that they left on their reporting day without any issues. It's important to ensure you have your passport receipt and remember to apply for a re-entry permit if you plan to return.

Go in the day before.

nope you do not (y) just take the paper out of your passport and stamp on out ๐Ÿ™‚

The way immigrations interprets it is IF you stamp OUT of the country on the due date you theoretically left BEFORE you were required by law to do a 90 day report ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I only know this because I was leaving on the due date of a report years ago and asked both at the immigration office and then again at passport control when I stamped out.

They both said no need to report if you leave on or by that date

I stand corrected in the face of first hand experience. :-)

Keep in mind, if you're returning the 90 days start from that day

Immigration at the airport won't put a reminder in your passport, you need to keep track of your new reporting day

No,I flew out on a reporting day and no problems on my return

No

As the 28th is your 90th day in country, then according to empirical evidence, you will be fine not reporting.

Read Tods answer. Not file it.

You're only required to report if you're staying more than 90 days

That is why it is called a 90 day report, as opposed to a 'more than 90 day report '

I went to immigration three days before I flew out, which was also reporting day,no need to report as per the immigration officer

90 days or more, not more than.
