I need to do my 90 day report by the 17th of June. I have a flight out of Thailand on the 23rd. My understanding is I get 1 week after the reported date to do it. Given I'm leaving one day before is it okay to not do it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking clarification on whether they need to complete their 90-day report before leaving Thailand, given their flight is just one day after the report due date. Community comments indicate a mixed perspective: while some feel it's acceptable to skip the report as there may be no immediate checks at the airport, others advise that it's prudent to comply with the reporting requirement to avoid potential fines in the future. Overall, it's suggested to conduct the report or consult local immigration for peace of mind.

You must report being 90 days in Thailand. The fact that you’re allowed up to 7 days after to do so is irrelevant. If you don’t report you may be subject to a fine when you next interact with immigration.
Anonymous participant 206 the grace period is for filing the report, not for the requirement to report. If you are inside Thailand for 90 consecutive days you are legally obliged to file a report
The 90 days is 90 days. The weeks leeway is if you actually report. Currently there is no issue leaving or re-entering if you do not complete the 90 day report. However, it is a requirement for your visa and immigration always have this recorded. Some "O" Visa holders do not report and pay a fine once a year when renewing their visa. As the Thais say "Alai gadai" (Up to you).
