TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shared their experience obtaining a single entry Thai tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur, highlighting it is valid for 60 days with a 3-month entry window. Other users emphasized the importance of understanding visa dates to avoid overstaying and expressed gratitude for shared experiences.
I think there can be confusion about the term validity, which has led to people overstaying. As you may have heard, immigration is getting quite strict about overstay, and even one day can lead to arrest.
Congratulations! Just want to point out that it is a 60 day visa with 3 month validity, which means you have up to 3 months in which to enter the country. After entering the country, your visa is good for 60 days, including the day you entered. Up to and including your 60th day, you can go to an immigration office and extend it for 30 days.
Make sure you understand your dates clearly so you do not overstay.
