Hi I am going to get a tourist visa in April in Laos is it ok if I fill out the forms on my computer or must they be filled out by hand

Answer summary

The post discusses the procedure for filling out a Thai tourist visa application while in Laos, specifically whether the forms can be completed on a computer or if they need to be filled out by hand. Community members confirm that while the correct form must be used, filling it out digitally is acceptable. They also provide links to current forms from Thai consulates in Vientiane and Savannakhet, noting the importance of verifying the validity of these forms. Additionally, comments reveal that applicants typically apply in the morning and receive their visa the following business day.

I'm EU citizen, is it still 30 USD or 1500 THB for Lao Visa? Thank you in advance for your help :)

You apply day one in the morning and pick up the visa the next working day in the afternoon.

Hi, I am going to Savanakhet next Monday to apply for 60 days Tourist visa. The form from above is still valid? And also do you know whether I can get my visa at the same day or need to wait until next day?

Its better to take the form direct by the embassy, last time i fill out the form from their website and it was the old form so i had to fill out a new one. The form is inside the building in front of the counter and its for free

make sure you have the correct form. They recently changed forms and the one on their website isn't the one they use.

I'd say just wait and fill it out there.
