Hello I am posting for someone not on Facebook their question is:

Can a non B renewed outside of Thailand? She has held the same Non b for several years, the visa is due to expire in a couple weeks but she may not make it back to Thailand in time due to new restrictions and some other circumstances. She has contacted her lawyer but has not got a response. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this before! Thanks

No, you cannot get extensions outside of Thailand. Your friend would need to start the process over again if their Non-B expires while outside of Thailand.

Nothing ever gets renewed. A person can acquire a new single entry Non-B visa outside of Thailand though.
