Hi, is it possible to arrive into Thailand on the Visa exemption (30 days) and then extend that visa 7 days at an Immigration office? I will need to stay for 33 days after arriving from Bali, but worried that Thai officials may look suspiciously on the fact that I've been in Thailand 3 months before that. What do you think about this approach, would it be fine? I'm going back to my home country after these 33 days.
TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is possible to arrive in Thailand on a 30-day visa exemption and extend it by 7 days at an immigration office, which typically costs 1900 baht. Although you have visited Thailand recently, this approach should not raise suspicions with the Thai officials, provided you comply with the regulations.
