Hello - On a 90 day visa, only single entry is allowed. I was told to get multiple entries, must speak to immigration in Thailand. The DC consulate wasn’t able to answer the following: if I have a single entry but visa is good for 90 days, what happens if I leave and come back? (I am traveling on a US passport.) Immigration laws state stays within Thailand for no longer than 180 calendar days in a year are permitted - continuous or other wise. So I’m a bit confused here.
Can I re-enter or is there another process I need to follow?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking clarification on the rules governing re-entry into Thailand on a 90-day single entry visa. They are uncertain about the implications of leaving and returning while having this visa type, specifically in relation to the 180-day stay limitation imposed by immigration laws. The inquiry highlights confusion regarding re-entry rights and the necessity of discussing options with Thai immigration for multiple entries.
