TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information regarding the possibility of obtaining a visa on arrival for Myanmar and inquiring about the duration and cost of acquiring a Thai tourist visa, as their current visa is about to expire. The comments suggest that most nationalities should obtain an E-Visa for Myanmar in advance, provide advice on finding a Thai consulate, and mention that the tourist visa costs around 2,000 THB, with Vientiane being a recommended location for processing.

Vientiane is the easiest and closest thai consulate to get a single entry tourist visa from. There are companies that will take you there if you can't do it on your own.

goes there twice a week.

Tourist visa at most Thai Consulates is 2.000 Thb. Sorry we can not help you what is the cheapest way of travel or what is the cheapest place to stay. This page is for Thai visa advice, not what is the cheapest advice.

How about stating where you actually are INSIDE of thailand so people can recommend a consulate?

Most countries BUY an E-Visa to Myanmar BEFORE they fly there. What nationality is your passport?
