Hi all,

My visa runs out on the 1st January ( New Year's day! ). So obvious question is will the immigration office be open jontiem or Bangkok? Or should i go before?

Does anyone know what days they are open over Christmas and times.

Many thanks happy holidays 🌲

Answer summary

The user inquires about the opening hours of the immigration office in Jomtien or Bangkok, as their visa expires on January 1st. Comments suggest it’s advisable to visit the office before the expiration date due to holiday hours. The user has a UK holiday visa and plans to extend their stay. Concerns are raised about the immigration office in Pattaya being inefficient.

Just ordinary uk holiday visa, my first 45 days is up on the 1jan so id like to extend for 30 days probably at jontiem pattaya, but hearing stories its the worst immigration office around. I'm currently in korat nakhon ratchasima, don't suppose there an immigration office here is there?

The holidays are pinned to the top of the group. There's no reason to wait to go, extensions are added to the end of the existing stay.
