Good afternoon,question for the first non o visa extension ( retirement) application.I've read that the immigration office in Jomtien requires you to appear in person after three months to confirm that the bank deposit hasn't been touched. I'm planning a trip before those three months (after applying for a re-entry permit). Is it possible? Can you advise me on how to proceed? Thanks in advance.

Correct me if I’m wrong….but….

They only check that your 800,000 hasn’t been touched. Take your bank book to verify….You can spend anything over that

for reasons only they understand, your bankbook (bookbank) is not enough. You need to get a letter from you bank as well.

You need to talk to them when you apply for your extension and see what you can do about not being in country on the report back date

The Jomtien office is one of the few offices that give you a paper stating you return in 3 months to make sure you're following the seasoning requirements of the banked money method for retirement extension

Hi. i am a bit confused with this post and answers. I got the non imm O retirement in November 2025, extended for a year in February in jomtien.

Do they want to check the bankbook again 3 month after the extension? (It would be too late to do that for me now...)

if they didn't give you a piece of paper that said you were supposed to return after 3 months when you got your extension they did not want to check your balance..

They don't make everybody do it for some reason.

I can´t update news about that because the extension wasn´t approved. Officer asked me a one year lease contract. I didn´t have one, because I´m booking condos by a well known application for short periods of time. I had my TM30 and my receipts of the payment, but he wanted the one year lease contract.
