So I recently talked to someone that absolutely insisted that there's been recent changes to how many times you can enter on a Non-O back to back.

They are having some problems arranging their extension in country, and have apparently been told they can't just go out and come back in with another Non-O and try again to sort their extension.

I think it must have been a misunderstanding, but curious about other peoples experiences and what other people have heard lately.
Answer summary
The recent conversation highlights confusion regarding the Non-O visa, specifically about the ability to re-enter Thailand back-to-back and the requirements for extensions. Some users shared their experiences regarding extensions, including the necessity of providing a long-term lease contract and verifying bank funds for retirement extensions. The discussion indicates that while some immigration officers might apply varying rules, it's essential to confirm requirements with local immigration offices for specific situations.
