Yes you can get the driving licenses. Do you have an IDP and the license in your home country? if yes then you only need a certificate of residence (immigration), a medical certificate (any local doctor for 100 baht), passport, licenses. everything in copy 2 times. make an appointment at the local DLT (some dont need). depending on the province you will do some tests (reaction, etc. // easy) at the DLT. depending on the office you will hold your new license in your hand within an hour. i paid about 350 baht for 2 licenses at the DLT. plus 100 for the doc.

if you dont have a license yet then you will need to do some tests. can do that at the dlt + online theory test. i would probably choose a driving school that has some english speaking staff to make it an easy process.
