I know that with the DTV visa weβre required to leave Thailand at least twice a year, before every 180 days. I just want to ask if anyone knows how long we can stay outside the country each time. I might need to return to my home country for 3β4 months to settle some business matters. Would it cause any issues with immigration when I re-enter Thailand after being away that long? Is there any specific rule about this situation for DTV visa holders?
Thanks in advance for your help and time!

TLDR : Answer Summary
DTV visa holders are generally allowed to stay outside of Thailand for an extended period without facing immigration issues. Several contributors have confirmed that there are no strict limitations on the duration of stay outside, as long as the visa remains valid. However, it is advisable to consider any requirements related to attendance for certain visa types, such as education visas, where missing classes could lead to complications.
Stay out as long as you want but if you are on soft power with classes and missing them then you might run into trouble as people on education visas did.
