Has anyone been able to get a refund for cooking class, when applied for dtv but granted a 6 month metv ? Can anyone share, if you were able to get a refund for the course or how to get a refund?

Some believe a refund is unlikely, while others suggest seeking compensation documents for future DTV applications. Flows one way here...most important thing to learn.
Partly_enlightened That is a helpful suggestion. Especially if the school advertised that the course qualified for DTV and provided appropriate documentation and advice. If they don't offer anything in the way of compensation, I would apply for your DTV via Issa Compass. They have a 99% success rate, offer full refunds in the unlikely event of failure (their fee plus Embassy fee) or, alternatively, you can opt for one further free submission at a different Embassy.
You were given a visa that lasts as long as the classes you signed up for, so what's the problem? Are you trying to scam the system for a five year visa?
