Can I obtain a DTV visa in Thailand by enrolling in a language course?
Hello everybody. I'm looking to come to Koh Samui next month and applying for a DTV visa, soft power, coming from UK.
I'm getting conflicting information. Some say, including the Thai school, that I can sign up for a language course to qualify for DTV, others say it will be rejected.
Can anyone advise on this? Or perhaps recommend any cooking or Muay Thai courses that do DTV on Koh Samui.

As above Thai language alone not approved. The cultural components in addition to language can be approved but the only 2 I know are in Chiang Mai. Maybe someone knows others?

Generally, language programs are not accepted. That being said, there are a few programs that have integrated cultural courses into the language program and the embassy accepts them based on the cultural component of the course (not the language component)

DTV_BegPecker not aware of any in Koh Samui though so how would he attend? Plus they don't appear to have a great success rate
