Is it advisable to apply for the DTV visa now and travel to Thailand for a short time before moving permanently?

I am planning to move to Thailand in July. I am just wondering whether it would make sense to apply for the DTV visa now and enter the country for a short time, leaving and come back in a few months. I fear that the regulations could become stricter, if not be changed completely. However, entry and exit could also cause problems. What do you all mean?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discussion suggests that applying for the DTV visa now and entering Thailand shortly before your permanent move is a valid option. One user shared their positive experience of applying for the visa, entering for a few weeks, and planning to fully relocate later. Another user advised that entering and leaving Thailand should not typically pose problems, unless there are specific complicating factors in one's immigration history.

This is only my personal view. If you are sure you are going for the DTV apply for it now. Entering and leaving by is not likely to be an issue unless 1) You have a complicated immigration history in Thailand 2) You are very unlicky
