Hi

Do you know if I can get a DTV if I attend a Thai massage course? Or is it only possible with Muay Thai? Thank you 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa typically requires enrollment in recognized soft power activities. While attending a certified Thai massage course might seem plausible, it often depends on the institution being approved. Most comments suggest that massage school may not qualify under these regulations, and individuals are advised to consider other options for obtaining a DTV visa.

Haven't seen Anybody getting the DTV Visa from a massage school course. I think you should avoid it and select another Soft Power reason for the DTV Visa

You can go to a massage school with your tourist visa, even with visa exempt entry. No Ed Visa is needed.

Not from any mom and pop massage shop. It would need to be a certified registered qualified recognized school with a course outline of at least 3 months. They would need to supply you with paperwork to support their qualifications.

You better ask the embassy where you'll apply but it doesn't seem to be part of the soft power activities.
