Simple Question: If entering on a Non-O Visa only for 90 days, can I get a re-entry permit to leave and comeback.
Answer summary
Yes, you can obtain a re-entry permit while on a Non-O Visa for a stay of 90 days. It's easiest to acquire the re-entry permit at the airport upon departure, but it is also available at local immigration offices. Keep in mind that a re-entry permit does not extend your stay; the date on your entry stamp will remain the same as your original permission to stay, so ensure you return before that date expires.

Yes - you can goto main immigration 1,000 baht tm8 copies of passport ID page and current stamp and a passport size photo - this doesnt extend your 90 days it keeps ticking
Yes. Easiest to get it at the airport on your way out, but you should also be able to do it at your local immigration office as well.
Just know that a re-entry permit does not give you any additional time. The stamp in your passport has the date that your permission to stay expires. When you leave and return with a re-entry permit, you will receive that same exact date on your entry stamp, since you are re-entering on that status. You will need to be back before it expires to apply for your extension.
