International Travel question; My wife and I have non O visas with extensions based on retirement and a single entry re-entry permit that we bought last year (valid until October). Our first international trip is coming up. Upon returning to CNX, my understanding is you write the number from the re-entry permit on the new T6 arrival card whew it asks for a visa number and not the number on the original non-O. First, is this correct ?

Next; sounds dumb but we can barely make out the handwriting on both re-entry visas but it appears to be five digits, a slash and an abbreviation for the Thai year (60). Attached is a picture. Can someone who’s done this help us know if we write only the first 5 numbers on the T6 or all seven and then with or without the slash? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand with a non-O visa and a re-entry permit, you are correct that you need to write the number from the re-entry permit on the T6 arrival card. Based on community advice, you should write all seven characters of the re-entry permit number, including the slash and the Thai year abbreviation. It's also recommended to double-check with the immigration officer to ensure your entry stamp reflects the expiration of your extension.

Even writing the re-entry permit number is NO guarantee that the immigration officer is gonna stamp you in correctly,

Before you walk away from the desk when you enter the country and get stamped in check to make sure that you're stamped in until the expiration of your current extension. :)

oh that makes sense. Thanks. Again. One last thing. If we continue to do 90 day online I assume I’d then use the above mentioned re-entry visa for the question on current visa number along with that flight which is ask asked? Sorry. Last question

, it's just so the immigration officer who stamps you out doesn't pull it out and throw it away (which they sometimes do) :/

ok thanks. I also wanted to ask you what is the advantage of removing the latest 90 day receipt from passport once you depart Thailand ? I know you said make sure you don’t lose it for the next time you do a 90 day no matter what the date reads.

Got it. We will both double check that the “admitted until” stamp reads the date of our latest expiry for current extension of non o based on retirement. That’s what you mean, right?

You write all the numbers including the slash.
