Do I need a re-entry permit for my multiple entry tourist visa when leaving Thailand?
Hi, probably a silly question but have had different answers depending on who I have asked. I am currently on a multiple entry tourist visa and will be heading back to the UK for work next week and returning to Thailand 2 weeks later. Do I need to go to immigration and get a re entry permit before leaving or does my original visa form count as the re entry permit? Thanks
Answer summary
You do not need to obtain a re-entry permit if you hold a valid Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) when leaving Thailand.

IF you truly have any METV multiple entry tourist visa, Then you will NOT 🚫 need to get a Re-entry permit to re-enter Thailand.
Be sure that the METV is valid.
Look at the METV stamp in your passport for its dates for use.
