TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether their upcoming 90-day report must be done in person at the immigration office or if they can complete it online after renewing their 12-month retirement visa. Comments indicate that the first report generally needs to be done in person, but subsequent reports may be submitted online. There’s also discussion about potential dates for reporting based on their recent travels and advice on utilizing visa agents or doing it online.

Have to do the first one at immigration or can send the forms in by Thai post etc. if you do it by post, keep a copy just in case.

Okay so we left Thailand in February for 5 days, but when we returned we did our 12 month extensions which is valid until April 2027.

Do we have to do our 90 report from the date we arrived back in Thailand or is it taken from the start of your 12 month extension.

The first report must be in person. Have you done one before? Were you on a 12 month extension before or you entered on the 90 day non-O visa and extended that? If you entered with the visa and haven't had to do a TM47 before, you'll probably have to do this one in person.

yes, on a 12 month extention before, just extended it for another 12 months in february, usually my agent does the 90 day report, but weve fell out, most prob wont use them next feb, but i need to do the 90 day reporting meanwhile, hoped online would be possible, or should i swallow my pride on this and ask my old agent to do this report?

Barney Ontour Good question. Don’t make an instant decision, sleep on it .

Ignore Meta/FB but ask the Immigration Bureau.

File online 15 days before your due date. That gives you a ton of time to find out if it's rejected and then go in person. You can go in person to submit it up to 7 days after the due date without a fine.
