TLDR : Answer Summary
When your visa expires, you cannot simply cross the border to obtain a new visa the same day. A new visa typically requires you to visit a Thai embassy or consulate, and processing times vary by location. For example, in Laos and Malaysia, it could be ready the next day, while in Cambodia, it may take about three days. It's important to check the specific embassy or consulate where you plan to apply. Additionally, ensure you are aware of your admitted to stay date noted in your passport, which indicates when you must leave the country or apply for an extension.

I basically I screwed my self for 2months out of the 6 month visa I don't understand why it says enter before October because September 18 would be 6 from the April 18 issue date on visa or am I wrong

Umm, 6 months from April would be October, (1 may, 2 june, 3 july, 4 august, 5 september, 6 october :O )
Now you might have gotten the visa way before you came here but the visa is valid the correct amount of time.

For a new visa you need to go to a thai embassy or consulate, not "just cross the border" and pick up day is minimally a day after aplication day.

You want to get a new METV or Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV)? METV can usually only be obtained in your country of residence.
It depends on the embassy/consulate. In Laos and Malaysia for example, it’s ready the next day. In Cambodia it takes about 3 days. So where do you plan to go?

The expire date of the visa is your least concern. Check your admitted to Stay date stamped in your passport. That is the day you have to leave the country or before that day apply for Extension of Stay depending on kind of Visa.

Can I get an extension ever time I re enter so 3 90day entries or is that pushing it lol
If you enter before the visa enter before date you will get an Admitted to Stay period of 60 days. This Admitted to Stay period you can extend with 30 days at local Immigration office.
OK so on my last day the visa enter before date I can get 60 days plus 30 how does that work if it expires lol

Okay, on arrival you wil get 60 days of stay, after these 60 days make a border run for another 60 days and than you can make your last border run just before or on 17 Oct to get another 60 days which you extend at Immigration with 30 days more. That will give you a stay till about 15 Jan 2019..

OK I leave Canada and fly June 5 arriving June 7 the enter before date is Oct 17 2018
Hard to read, the date and I don't understand June 5 in your other comment, the date is 17 October 2017?

This visa allows multiple entries and with each entry you will be allowed to stay up to 60 days (extendable by 30 days for 1900 Baht in country). You can even enter on the last day and will still get a stamp for 60 days (also extendable).
