Hope I can ask here …

Has anyone been to Maenam immigration and gotten a COVID extension lately ?

Or is there a possibility of extension due to a medical condition .

Person (Uk) is on second extension of stamp on arrival .

Needs to stay due to a medical problem .

Thanks for any insight.

Answer summary

The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a COVID extension or a medical extension at Maenam immigration in Thailand. The individual is from the UK and is on a second extension of a stamp on arrival, needing to stay due to a medical condition. Comments suggest that if the passport is visa exempt and no non-immigrant visas were obtained, another 60-day extension could be possible due to COVID-19. Additionally, if the person has a medical condition preventing travel, a doctor's recommendation could support a medical extension.

If he has a medical condition that the doctor prohibits him to travel, he may be able to get an extension medical reason. For that, he needs to talk about it with his doctor and hospital.

IF the person's passport is a visa exempt, and they didn't get any non-immigrant visas, then they can get another 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19

1. Where's Maenam immigration ? Is that Suratthani immigration?

2. What is the most recent visa? I have no idea what "stamp on arrival" is.
