Hi everyone, need some advice regarding Covid extension. I was under the assumption we could still get one up to the point of the 20th May. But my friend said they have already stopped issuing them (according to his friend who works at immigration Bangkok). I have already had 3 Covid extensions but all at different immigration offices and now am thinking will I have any problems if I try next Tuesday??

Any input would be appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a Covid extension for their visa after hearing conflicting information regarding the deadline for issuance. They have previously received three Covid extensions from different immigration offices and are uncertain about potential issues when they apply again.

your friend doesn't know what they're talking about The current covid extension program runs until May 24th.

NOW whether you'll get another covid extension with a 2+ year stay history on amensty/covid extensions is another story entirely.

All you can do is go to your immigration office and apply. They'll either let you get one or they'll tell you to leave the country OR they could sell you a 7 day extension denied stamp that gives you a week to get out (for 1900baht)
