Hey guys. I'd like some help clarifying what the current situation is with covid extension visas. I have been doing them since March last year and a friend just told me they are not giving them out anymore.
I have seen conflicting advice on here where some people say they are still being given out and others are saying only for non-tourist visas and others saying they aren't being given out at all.
Does anyone have any solid answers regarding this?
FYI I arrived on a tourist visa and my covid extension expires on the 15th of March.
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The current situation regarding COVID extension visas indicates that applications for tourist visas can still be submitted until March 25. However, non-immigrant visas are no longer eligible for extensions. Individuals who entered Thailand on a tourist visa or visa exemption may apply for a COVID extension, but approval is at the discretion of the immigration officer.
Anyone who has had any kind of non imm at any time is not eligible. Anyone who entered with VOA is not eligible. Anyone who entered with TV or visa exempt may apply for a COVID extension. The immigration officer will decide whether or not to issue said extension. Currently last day to apply is March 25th.
