Good evening to all :)

I asked last week, but didn't really got the answer I need..

1. Can I get a two mounts visa in Cambodia? (first time)

2. I know I can get a 30 days visa in mianmar, and not two months. Can I extend it from Thailand, koh samui?

I have an Israeli passport (been in Cambodia before 8 years, wasn't any problem).

I already finished two visas of two months+one month extend from samui. One from Israel, one from Laos. I'm staying in koh tao, so Laos is too far, and malaysa is not an option because I can't switch passport ( forbidden for Israelis).

Thank you all, the information will be very helpful!! :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about obtaining a two-month visa in Cambodia and extending a 30-day visa from Myanmar while staying in Koh Samui, Thailand. They mention their Israeli passport and prior experience with Thai immigration. Responses indicate that a 60-day visa is available from Cambodian consulates, and that extensions for both tourist visas and visa-exempt stamps can be processed in Koh Samui. There's also clarification on passport switching and visa application requirements.

, you can only switch passports by air. You stamp out and fly out of thailand on your current passport, BUT you stamp in and out of another country with your other passport and then stamp back into thailand on the new one. You need entry and exit stamps of the country you are going to in the new passport to get stamped in on it in thailand

Some agency told me that they will probably give only 15 days, because I got already two visas and one extension.. know something about this possibility?

And in mianmar/or Thailand border, would they ask me for 20,000 bhat and flight out ticket?

Thanks a lot!!! Last question- after getting the one month visa from mianmar, can I get extension of one mount more from samui?

@R**
, if that's what an agency told you I'd say that's the wrong agency to deal with. :O

there is no such thing as a 15 day entry anymore. They went back to 30 day visa exempt entries on Dec 31st 2016, the same time they put a limit of TWO 30 day visa exempt entries in a calendar year

Consulates and Embassys want bank statements showing 20,000 baht or equivalent, not cash. Cash isn't accepted. Thai immigration MAY ask to see 20,000 baht in CASH. Cards and bank statements are NOT accepted.

@Ste***
, you are right that the thai consulate in Vientiane Lao doesn't ask for any financial proof or onward travel BUT the thai consulate in Savannakhet Lao does.

Vientiane in Laos doesn't ask for any type of income or savings

You can have a 60 day tourist visa in Thai consulate in Cambodia (for example Phnom Phen) and in Myanmar (for example Yangon).

You also can have a 30 day visa-exempt stamp at any border with Myanmar (for example Ranong), Cambodia or Laos.

The both, tourist visa or visa-exempt stamp, can be extended by 30 days at Samui Immigration (monday-friday 8.30-12; 13-16.30: fill the form and bring 1900 thb, 1 photo, passport copy - frontpage, last stamp, departure card)

Visa application takes a couple of days to spend abroad. It is not free, cost depends on consulates but it's around 1,

,500 baht.

Consulates could also ask financial proof, proof of lodging (hotel booking or house rental contract), and a flight out of Thailand within 60 days.

Visa exempt is just a stamp that you can get with a same day go and back border run. The stamp is free. From Koh Tao you could go to Ranong border with Myanmar. You just need to pay a fee of 500 baht (or a brand new 10 US dollar banknote) to enter Myanmar.
