Hi, my friend is crossing from Siam Reip Cambodia into Thailand via the land border.
He has an isreali passport. Can he obtain 30 day visa exempt on arrival? Can this 'visa' be extended once arrived?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Israeli passport holder entering Thailand from Cambodia can obtain a 30-day visa exempt entry, which is a free entry stamp and not a visa on arrival. This entry can be extended for an additional 30 days at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.
However with that being said; your Israeli friend can get in on a 30 day visa exempt entry which is just a free entry stamp (not a visa on arrival not any visa at all)
AND
They can get one 30 day extension at the immigration office where they stay for 1900baht
