TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on extending their Thai visa while visiting Koh Mah Island and inquiries about crossing to Cambodia for that purpose. The comments suggest options for obtaining an Extension of Stay at an immigration office, highlight the importance of the user's passport nationality for border crossing, and explain the possible need for a border run depending on their visa history.

let me try: You arrived in Thailand without a visa and got a stamp on the 16th of Jan with Admitted until 14 Feb.

Then you went to an Immigration Office, showed your passport, some copies, picture, paid the fees and got another 30 days Extension of Stay permitted up to 15 March.

Now you like to stay even longer inside Thailand.

That depends on your previous history of living inside Thailand.

If this was your first entry in your life time to Thailand then you can do a border run and get a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry.

If you visited Thailand before, then you have to start giving information.

Arrived 16th Jan, got 30 days and these 30 days ends in March.

With my best calculator:

Jan 16 day 1

Jan 17 day 2

Jan 18 day 3

etc

Feb 14 day 30.

15 days short to even reach March.

There is an immigration office, a few metres away from the pier to koh mak in Laem Ngop, Trat. The border to Cambodia, had lek, is about an hour and a half drive from the pier. With regards to extension etc, I will leave up to the pros ;)

You get an Extension of Stay at an immigration office, you can cross the border but that depends on your country of origin of your passport. And we do not know that.

So find your country and look at the top of the column
