I was recently in Thailand for just under 3 months as I got an extension from the Thai embassy. I flew from England and a month ago I went to Vietnam for a week and flew back to Thailand. I’m now back in England. Can I fly into Thailand again in two weeks time?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user sought advice regarding the possibility of re-entering Thailand after a recent visit and extension of stay. Responses indicated that it should be fine to fly back in, with some caution to avoid overstaying or appearing to live in Thailand without proper documentation. Clarifications about visa extensions confirmed that extensions are typically handled by immigration authorities in Thailand, not at embassies.

Yes, of course you can. Just fly in.

You extended at Thai immigration not the embassy though.

How did you get an extension from the Thai embassy? They only issue actual visas

That would be an Immigration Office, not an Embassy. Embassies are overseas

Should be okay. Just be careful when you get to the point where it looks like you're trying to live in Thailand rather than be a tourist. That's when you'll start to run into issues entering Thailand. But no one can answer when that is, as it's up to each individual immigration officer to determine.

thank you so much for getting back to me. So I should be ok with just my full uk passport and 20,000 baht. No need to seek another visa?

if you've been in Thailand for 3 months this year, the odds are low of you having any issues. Those usually seem to start around 5 or 6 months
