TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is inquiring about the possibility of extending their visa for an additional five months at the immigration office in Jomtien. Community responses indicate that a five-month extension is not available and that the type of visa currently held will dictate the possible extensions. For example, a 60-day tourist visa may only allow for an extra 30 days. Furthermore, suggestions were made about potentially leaving the country to reset the visa duration, as well as the need for more personal details to provide accurate advice.

OP seems not too interested. Without him giving some basic information.... it's all just a waste of time 😞

I think you should fly outside Thailand and come back to get 60 days and extension for another 30 days. And fly outside again another trips to get you 5 Months as you ask for..

- However, depending on your current Visa Types

- and How many times have you done on your Border Run

Please more details on your questions because we can help more information

you will be given 60 days on arrival, thus can be extended at immigration in your area by further 30 days.Then its a border run or short break in a neighbouring country then you can restart the process. This is assuming you have not been doing this already or had an overstay.

None of that matters when going for an extension. What is needed is the Visa type and whether the requirements for the extension can be met.

@Graham *****
yes as 5 month extension is not available

What visa are you on?

If you are on a 60 day tourist entry you will only get an extra 30.

There's no such thing as a 5 month extension.

What visa are you trying to extend? That will determine what extensions are available to you.

Just wanting to stay does not mean you can. You must qualify for an extension. Wanting to be in Thailand is not a reason for a long-term extension.
