Hi guys. I flew in from london 60 days ago and after the 30 day exemption was up i applied and got a 30 day extension.
My landlord says i can go to the local (patong) emigration kiosk and apply for another 30 days but im not so sure if he is correct on that score.
I dont want to fly back to london then return again simply because that gets a bit £xxy and ive done it twice already.
Any advice please. Cheers..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired about the possibility of obtaining another 30-day visa extension at the local emigration kiosk in Patong after already receiving one extension following a 30-day exemption upon arrival in Thailand. Responses indicate that the landlord's advice is incorrect; only one 30-day extension is permissible for the 30-day exemption. To extend their stay beyond this, the individual would need to leave the country and return, commonly referred to as a 'border run'. Suggestions for nearby travel destinations for this purpose include Penang, Malaysia, as well as the Thai embassies in Vientiane, Laos, or Savanakhet.
You can only get one 30 day Extension to the original 30 day Exempt Entry. You will have to go to Penang, Malaysia (closest place) to the Thai Consulate and apply for a 60 day Tourist Visa (which you can later Extend at the Phuket Immigration office.
