Just a quick question, I arrive on 8th of January in Thailand with a tourist visa for 2 months (valid until 15th of March), but the immigration officer at the airport gave me one stamp until 6th of February. I have a flight to go out of Thailand 3rd of March.
My question is, When do I need to leave the country?
Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a tourist visa valid until March 15 but was stamped at the airport to leave by February 6. There is confusion regarding the stamp, as it indicates a 30-day visa exemption. Other comments suggest returning to the airport or an immigration office to rectify the stamp. Additionally, another user inquires about extending their 60-day tourist visa for an extra 30 days.
Yes similar question I have... I get a tourist visa for 60 days but will extend for extra 30 at immigration office in Bangkok so they will add the extra 30 days on there to exit so it will be on same day as my flight out... is that correct
30 day extensions on 30 day visa exempt entries OR 60 day tourist visa entries are always ADDED to the current expiration date you have in your passport now.
Meaning you do not lose any time by going before the current stamp expires.
Face it you're not the first foreigner to get stamped in wrong AND not bother to look at their passport before they left passport control (the counter where you stamped in).
Your stamp clearly has ผ.30 written on it and that means 30 day visa exempt.
You can go BACK to the airport where you stamped in to the information counter and they will go get the stamp corrected OR you can go to the immigration office in the area where you're staying (in bangkok it's out at the government complex on Chaengwattana Road) and get it corrected there.
Of the two choices I'd go back to the airport because you won't have to queue up and they'll do it in just a couple minutes ..
Your msg is confusing, show us a picture of the tourist visa and the stamp you got from immigration won't take long to figure out what happens. You can blur wtv personal info. I say confusing because some people here are using wrong terminology, not saying you are, but need to be sure.
I spent 9 months in thailand last year I went to my country to open the christmas presents and open the champagne in the new year eve and when I came back the officer didnt ask any question or proof of anything just stamp my passport and thats it
You can go to the place where people extend their visas to have it sorted out. Just google which one is closest to where you are. Always important to check your passport right away because a mistake like this happens sometimes from officer side.
