Hello, I need some advice.

I arrived in Thailand on 30 day visa exemption from Australia. I have already extended this once, for a total of 60 days.

I need another 30 days in Thailand as I have dental work coming up in Bangkok around the same time my visa extension will finish on the 15th may.

I’m currently in Chanthaburi and was planning to visit Trat before heading back to Bangkok.

What options do I have?

-Can I go to Trat Immigration and get an extension?

-Can I travel to Cambodia by land for say 1 weeks and then come back to Thailand on another 30 day exemption?

- or will I have to fly into Cambodia ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user needs advice on extending their stay in Thailand after a previous 60-day visa extension. They are considering options such as applying for an extension at Trat Immigration, traveling to Cambodia by land for a new 30-day visa exemption, or potentially 'border bouncing.' Commenters suggest various options including a medical extension with proper documentation, a COVID-related extension, or a new visa exemption upon exiting and re-entering Thailand.

Before your stamped date ends..

Go to your local Thai immigration office...apply for the 60 days COVID extension. 1,900 Thai baht.

Different options:

90 day Extension of Stay based on medical reasons with documents of the hospital.

60 day Extension of Stay based on unable to travel due to Covid

New 30 day Visa Exempt Entry by visiting neighbor countries, be aware that enter into Thailand by many land borders are possible if you meet the Covid requirements, but not leaving to neighbor countries.

okay thanks! It seems the 60 day Covid extension of stay is my best bet.

I will be able to do this at Trat Immigration office ?

You visit the local Immigration Office and apply there. It is the decision of the Immigration Officer if you get an extension as being unable to travel.
