I will be entering Thailand on a non immagrint o visa based on having a Thai spouse.
Can this be extended for another 90 days or would I have to leave the country and apply for a new visa again ?
Just seeing how long I can stay without having to lodge the 400k in a bank account for the 1 year extension.
Cheers ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about extending their Non-O Visa, obtained due to having a Thai spouse, and whether they can extend it for another 90 days without needing to lodge funds in a bank account for a one-year extension. Several comments suggest that the user can obtain a 60-day family visit extension for 1,900 Thai baht at a local immigration office, or they could do a border run to reset their visa for another 30 days. Other options discussed include applying for a one-year multiple-entry Non-O visa at the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet, Laos, and exploring different visa types through the Thai Embassy.
