Hi,

I have actually applied & got a tourist visa in March 2020 The visa is valid for 3 months Due to this current situation I was unable to travel and the visa got expired. Is it possible to get the same visa extended or should I apply for the visa again. Or any other way to activate the old visa. Can anybody let me know if you can help me with some information.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of extending an expired tourist visa for Thailand due to travel restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to a community response, once a visa has expired, it cannot be extended, and the user would need to apply for a new visa. The current border situation poses additional challenges for entering Thailand.

Once the visa is expired, it's expired and you need a new visa. The borders are closed to enter Thailand now as well
