Can I extend my 60-day visa in Thailand on the last day before it expires?

ORIGINAL POSTERHello.. If my 60 day visa is valid until 8/8 and I want to extend it for another 30 days, can I do it the last day? And if yes what are the chances for the immigration to be too busy and I don't get it the same day? (In Bangkok - immigration near Don Mueang)

many Immigration offices follow the law that you should be registered at the address. It is by law that the owner, landlord report a stay of a foreigner within 24 hours after arrival.

you can get a 30 day extension on your 60 day tourist visa stamp for 1900baht at the immigration office.
You don't hafta wait until the last day because they ADD the 30 days to your current stamp's expiration date.
As long as you get a queue number at Chaengwattana Immigration's you'll get served that day.
