Hi everyone!
I am on a 60 day tourist visa, staying in BKK. I want to get a 30 day extension:
- Where do I apply for this? Are there different offices for different BKK districts? I live in Sathorn Bangkok
- What documents do I bring?
- How much is it?
- Will the extra 30 days be from the stamp on my visa, or from the day I go to the office?
I am sure this has been answered before, but all I can find in previous posts is information about Covid extension visas. Thanks in advance for your help! ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 60-day tourist visa in Bangkok by an additional 30 days, you will need to visit the main immigration office on Chaengwattana Road (Building B, Counter J). Ensure you go within 45 days of your current visa expiration. The application fee is 1,900 baht, and the extension will be added to your existing visa expiration date. It's essential to bring documentation proving your stay in Bangkok, such as a TM30 receipt from your accommodation.
