Hello everyone! Iโ€™m in Thailand for a month but was recently given another month to stay because of work delays back home. Iโ€™m solely here on my original 30 day tourist exemption, but any advice on what to do to extend another 30 days on a tourist visa would be extremely helpful! I tried to look it up but the TM6 was canceled before I got here so I donโ€™t have one of those cards to extend with?? Any tips please?

Thank you ahead of time for the assistance! ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
A visitor in Thailand on a 30-day tourist exemption seeks advice on extending their stay for another 30 days despite the TM6 form being canceled. Community members respond with information about the immigration office application process, fees (1900 baht), and common requirements like bringing a mini photo and passport. They also share tips for locating nearby photocopy shops for documentation needs and the specific immigration office to visit in Bangkok.

I believe OP got all information he needs for applying for 30 days tourism extension in Bangkok. Thank you for your help, everyone.

Typically you'll find a photocopy shop nearby immigration that can do your photos and knows what to make copies of for the common tourist extensions but it pays to check where one is and arrive with plenty of time if you don't prepare everything at home first.

correct... The TM6....it's been temporarily discontinued.

entering on a 30 day visa exempt stamp you can go to the immigration office that serves the area where you live and get a 30 day extension for 1900baht.

and you don't need a TM6 to get an extension ๐Ÿ˜•

with 70 immigration offices in the country you're gonna hafta narrow it down a bit as far as what office you're going to use

, If you are in Bangkok, You are going to go to IT Square Laksi Plaza temporary office, just next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line. Not any other offices in Bangkok.

You will go here. There are photos&copy shops around the office, same floor.

And you can book online here
