Please help. So I am currently in Thailand as a UK citizen on the visa exemption for 30 days, I would like to extend for an additional 30 days at an immigration office here but they recently dropped the use of TM6 (arrival/departure) card for arrivals into Thailand so I didn't get one when they stamped my passport on the way in but as I understand you need this doc for the extention? Anyone else done this? Thank you x

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks help regarding extending their 30-day visa exemption in Thailand, mentioning the recent discontinuation of the TM6 arrival/departure card. Commenters clarify that even without this card, an extension can still be applied for by simply leaving the relevant field blank on the TM7 application when visiting the immigration office.

I had the same when extending the stay for my kids and had no issue at Khon Kaen immigration.

you are confusing two things. IF you arrived after the suspended the TM6 arrival/departure card program you can still get an extension just don't put anything on the TM7 application in the Departure card spot.

Go to your immigration office and apply for a 30 day extension for 1900baht like normal
