Hi all! I have a stamp on arrival for 30 days when I entered Thailand. I was told it could be extended at immigration office for another 30 days. Is that true? As far as I know it could be done only for 7 days. Iโm a Russian citizen if it maters. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Russian citizen who enters Thailand under the visa-waiver program can only receive a 30-day stamp upon arrival but is not eligible for a 30-day extension. Instead, they can apply for a 7-day extension or exit the country to re-enter on a new visa.
