I am planning to travel to Thailand on a Russian passport for 1 week. Could there be any problems at immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling to Thailand with a Russian passport allows for a 30-day visa waiver upon entry, per current bilateral agreements. You may be asked to show proof of sufficient funds, typically in cash, equating to 20,000 Baht or its equivalent in other currencies. Although some travelers report minimal questioning at immigration, it's advisable to carry physical cash rather than just a bank account screenshot. Be aware of local immigration policies regarding additional fees that might be charged upon entry.
I have heard that you will apparently be charged something like $25 at immigration just because, even if you have the correct visa etc. Who else has come across this?
Thai Immigration only charge people in the local currency and that is Thai Baht. If they ask US Dollar simply refuse to pay. Next to that at most Immigration check points are new signs: No Tip, please.
Russian passport holders will get stamped in on a 30 day visa waiver stamp <- like the visa exempt entry EXCEPT you cannot get a 30 day extension on it.
Also Russian passport holders are not limited to TWO 30 day visa waiver entries by land in a calendar year either <- although some borders will NOT let russians bounce out and back in for a new 30 day stamp.
I agree with other posters, IF you're going to be asked for anything it'll be proof of funds.
Just got to Bangkok a week ago from Bucharest and I got a bored official that asked no questions and just stamped my passport. I did have 500 Euros on me just in case though.
