TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the feasibility of exiting Thailand on their South African passport and re-entering on a European passport, using a visa run to Cambodia or Myanmar. Commenters clarified that switching passports is only possible when exiting and re-entering by air, not at land borders.

Riccardo Da Naya, IF someone tells you differently they're telling you WRONG information. :O

Don't believe it, call some visa run companies ask them, they'll tell you that you can't switch passports by land border crossings bouncing out and back in. :/

The real answer (whether you like it or not is) you can ONLY switch passports by AIR, not by land.

Good Luck (y)

To change passports, you'd have to leave and re-enter Thailand by air. To my knowledge, there is no way to change passports via a land border.

Yeah that seems to be the general consensus. But hopefully someone else tells me different. Thanks Benjamin
