Hey folk, I will enter Thailand with a german passport (visa exempt). Is there any process at the airport to โgo outโ of Thailand to have the stamp out and minute later re-enter with my Thai passport ? Normally I directly enter with my Thai passport. The thing is name is different on my Thai passport. And my vaccination certificate is based on my name on german passport so no other choice to enter the Sandbox with my german passport. TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of exiting Thailand with a German passport and then immediately re-entering with a Thai passport, due to a name discrepancy and vaccination certificate issues. Responses from the community clarify that one cannot simply check out and re-enter from within the airport without departing the country. They also note the importance of having a Certificate of Entry (COE) linked to the original passport used for entry, indicating that it's necessary to travel to another country first before re-entering with a different passport.
If you have a Thai passport, once enter on a german passport, then you can apply for an extension being a Thai national (with a foreign passport).
There is no way to change your passport just by being inside the airport. You need to fly in from another country to re-enter on your different passport.
was planning to do a COE for my thai passport too ๐ Anyway I will see with the IO when I arrive in Phuket. As thai immigration already know that I have entered Thailand with both passport before
