TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding an American passport, inquires about the implications of exiting Thailand for a brief visit to Singapore with a 60-day tourist visa. Comments suggest obtaining a re-entry stamp to maintain visa validity and highlight that leaving Thailand renders the visa void unless a re-entry permit is secured. Recommendations include visiting Singapore after completing the 30-day visa-exempt entry or planning the return strategically to maximize days in Thailand.

Best bet is to stop in Singapore on your way to or from Thailand, unless you want to extend your stay after your 60 days by visiting Singapore then returning to Thailand, no visa needed.

Nomal tourist visa isn't multiple entry . You leave in that 60 days and it's void

Go to Singapore first the come to Thailand and you’ll have 60+30 days

Your 60 days mean nothing once you exit. Better go to sg once you finished your 30days then back you will have another 30days

Just go to immigration and get a re-entry stamp.

This is simple. Stay in Thailand for the 60 days and go to Singapore at the end. Come back to Thailand and get another 30 days. Singapore is expensive for sleeping so unless you are rich don’t burn your money to long in Singapore.

Your 60 day visa isn't a multi entry

If going to Singapore within the first 30 days maybe enter visa exempt then use the visa when you return from Singapore

good luck with that, Immigration will go thru ur passport and see the visa> and use it

You have the option of paying 1,000 baht for a re entry permit which allows the visa to be used till the expiration date ( 60 days form when u 1st arrived>

Or come back on a 30 day visa exempt entry ( valid for 30 days)
