TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion regarding whether your girlfriend needs to prove a bank balance upon arrival in Thailand includes mixed opinions. While some commenters state that it's not necessary, others suggest keeping a bank statement or evidence of financial support handy, especially if she is traveling for the first time or is young without travel history. It's generally more important for her to have hotel bookings, a return flight, vaccination certificates, and comply with the requirements of the Thailand Pass.

We already had that problem

I had to get police clearance and affidavit

It’s all in a good cause I suppose

Her problem might be the Philippines immigration in the airport sometimes they ask how much money she have. Is this her first time going abroad? If yes, better to have her bank statement or you can make sponsorship letter together with your bank statement if you will support her during the trip.

Hi, I’m a Filipina and I’m currently in Thailand for more than a month now. They didn’t asked anything except for the normal requirements such as booked Sha+ Accommodations with transportation and Pcr Test, Vaccination Certificate, Insurance, and COE or Thailand Pass. They didn’t even asked me for a return flight since I just applied for one way for my COE.

It was a very smooth arrival for me. Very fast and I didn’t expect it at all.

But I must say that I didn’t flew from Manila, but instead from Istanbul since I was traveling in Turkey for a month before Thailand.

If she is young and does not have a travel history, chances are she will be asked. They regularly find reasons to offload young Filipinas. Better have everything she should just in case.
