I have a retirement visa. I currently live in Samui and have already done 1 90 day check in. I went to the states and returned May 14 so my next 90 day will be August 14 but I will be living in Krabi that month. Can I do check in at Krabi immigration? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to know if they can complete their 90-day check-in at Krabi immigration after moving there from Samui. Responses indicate that the 90-day report must be filed where the last TM30 was issued and suggest options for filing online or in-person, especially emphasizing compliance with immigration regulations following an international return.

Do it online

@Albert ********
first 90 day report once you return from abroad has to be done in person. people are now getting rejected for 90 day online with that as the reason

could be now, but my 1st one laster December, after I returned, was approved. Try it. I know that the absolutely first has to be done in person. In Hua Hin, maybe different.

right and I came back to thailand in Nov and filed without issue in Feb,

but

now the rejection notice specifically has that written on it as the reason in the body of the email.

You can also do the 90 report by post

I might be wrong but do you not need to do a new TM37 when you came back? Don't shoot the messenger lol

@Keith ******
TM30 needs to be filed when you return from abroad

that's what I meant lol

Your next date will be August 11 I think. You will need to have informed immigration of your change of address, or just use the online option assuming you reported to Samui immigration on your return to Thailand

you should be able to do it online.

@Mike *****
I left the country for 6 weeks and then just got back. I have a retirement visa

@Margaret ***********
then you can't use the online 90 day report function because the first report after comin' back into the country now has to be done in person

@Mike *****
It’s not her first report. ;)

It is the first report. The first report after returning to Thailand. Many people are reporting getting rejected online now in this case.

?? OP says she returned to thailand on 14 May, so it appears the Aug 14th 90 day is first since her arrival. No?

After you arrive in Krabi, ensure your landlord files a TM30. Then you can do your 90 day report with Krabi immigration, either online or in person.

Correct ✅ if that Thai Immigration office will accept the TM30 filing.

it was no problem when I arrived here from Kanchanaburi. TM30 filed by landlord then a week later did the 90 day online with Krabi, a week before the due date.

You have to file your 90 day report where your last TM30 was issues.

When you return to Thaïland, your 90 days start (day 1 is arrival date).

Ask your actual host to file the report and submit to this immigration your report after 90 days (14 days before until 7 days after).

@Wolf *****
so if I get a TM 30 from my host in Krabi I can do it there?
Wolf ******
@Margaret ***********
yep... you need to do it 90 day after arriving (14 days before or 7 days after).

You could also try to submit online your report 14 days before.... some time it works, and otherwise you have enough time to show up personally).
