Hi all, I am currently on a 30 day extension of a transit Visa. I only have 12 days left on my Visa and I need at least 15 days to transfer to an Education Visa. I am Australian Citizen, Is it possible to do a border run in Laos (walk in/walk out) and return the same day with 30 days?? Or they only give you 15??

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian citizen currently on a 30-day extension of a transit visa is inquiring about the possibility of doing a border run to Laos to gain an additional 30 days upon returning to Thailand. The individual has only 12 days remaining on their current visa and needs at least 15 days to transfer to an Education Visa. Comments suggest that while Australians can get 30 days upon entry, there may be a limitation of only two such entries per calendar year.

With Australian passport you get 30 days, but you can only do this twice a calendar year.
