Good evening. I just want to ask questions regarding my visa. So, I got my Non-B visa last August 3 and it will expire on Nov. 2. My school is still processing my teaching license and work permit right now. i only have one week left 'til my visa expires, and they're still processing my teaching license. So, I have few questions po,

*Do I need to exit Thailand and go back as tourist?

*Or is it possible to extend my visa here in local immigration? If yes, how many days extension will they give?

Btw, I had tourist visa. I extended at local immig once, then border run-Cambodia once. Then, I got my Non-B in Laos.

Hoping for your kind response. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about their Non-B visa situation as it is about to expire while their teaching license and work permit are still being processed. They seek advice on whether they need to exit Thailand and re-enter as a tourist or if they can extend their visa locally. A comment responding to their question indicates that a 30-day extension is not available, suggesting that they may need to leave and return or apply for a new visa.

There is no 30 day extension, so if you're employer doesn't get their act together to give you the documentation you need to go apply for an extension, you're done.

You bounce out and back to come in on a free entry stamp (Visa Exempt) or you go to a thai consulate in the area and buy a tourist visa, but you would have to start all over from scratch with a new Non-B if you're going to work
